Life:

Hassam Qazi was born in 1963 in Quetta, Pakitan and after his early education, he did Masters in Commerce from Quetta University. He joined the education field and was appointed as a college lecturer which he retained throughout his life. 

Hassam was diagnosed with heart disease which stopped him continue his acting career in 2000. On 3rd July 2004, Hassam Qazi died after a heart attack at his age of 42.

Hassam Qazi was passionate about acting and joined PTV in the 1980’s making his debut through the drama Khali Hath, produced by Dost Muhammad Gishkori at PTV Quetta Center. Hassam was having a lecturer job as well and such a job is always very demanding, but he successfully managed his acting career and appeared in many dramas produced by Quetta, Karachi, and Islamabad centers. He got fame through his drama ‘Chaon’ which was directed by Kazim Pasha. His other famous dramas include Marvi, Dard Key Rishtey, Dais Pardais, Mitti Ki Moorat, Silsiley, Lab e Darya, Kashkol, Gharana, Mehrab Khan, and Chakar e Azam.

His drama Marvi not only introduced Ghazal Siddique in 1984, but Marvi became very special due to Hassam’s extraordinary
performance. He also showed his best skills in drama Chakar e Azam which belonged to the history and culture of his own Baluchistan province.

Hassam Qazi died at age of 42 in 2004 but included himself in artists who appeared on PTV and won the hearts of millions. In his career of two decades, he gave PTV some marvelous and classic dramas which people are enjoying till today.
